The Toyosha S107 is a 1.1 L (1070 cc, 65.3 cu·in) natural aspirated two-cylinders four-stroke liquid-cooled internal combustion small diesel engine, manufactured by Japanese company Hinomoto under the Toyosha brand for general-purpose applications.
The Toyosha S107 engine has two cylinders, incorporate overhead valves, an indirect injection system, and an electric starter. The engine used a single-stage dry air cleaner, forced circulation liquid cooling system, and glow plugs for starting aid.
This engine produced 20.3 PS (14.9 kW; 20.0 HP) of maximum horsepower.

Cylinder Block and Head
Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 88.0 mm (3.46 in) and 88.0 mm (3.46 in), respectively. The cylinder head is a one-piece alloy cast-iron casting as is the engine block and no cylinder sleeves are used. The pistons are aluminum alloy casting. The crankshaft is supported by three main bearings. Grow plugs located in the precombustion swirl chambers of the head provide aid for cold starting.

The diesel oil (API Service Classification CC or CD) with a viscosity of SAE 10W-30 is recommended for the S107, refilling oil capacity is 3.7 L (3.91 US. qt, 3.26 Imp. qt.). The valve clearance is 0.30 mm (0.0118 in) for intake valves and 0.35 mm (0.0138 in) for exhaust valves.
