The Kubota ZB400 is a 400 cc, (24.4 cu·in) natural aspirated two-cylinders four-stroke liquid-cooled internal combustion diesel engine, manufactured by Kubota since 1980 for general-purpose applications.
The cylinder bore is 64.0 mm (2.52 in) and the piston stroke is 62.2 mm (2.45 in).
The Kubota ZB400 engine produced 10.6 PS (7.83 KW; 10.5 HP) at 3,200 rpm of gorss horsepower and 9.1 PS (6.71 KW; 9.0 HP) at 3,200 rpm of net intermittent power.
