Subaru-Robin EC08DThe Subaru-Robin EC08D is a 78.5 cc (4.82 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder two-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft.

The Subaru-Robin EC08D engine has a single-cylinder, float type carburetor, flywheel magneto type ignition system (contactless magneto type ignition available as an option), and recoil starter. The engine is fitted with a semi-wet type air cleaner. The EC08D is equipped with a 1.5 L (0.4 US. gal. 0.33 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.

Cylinder bore and piston stroke are 50.0 mm (1.97 in) and 40.0 mm (1.57 in), respectively. The Subaru-Robin EC08D engine produced 3.3 PS (2.4 kW; 3.2 HP) at 5,500 rpm of maximum output power and 5.0 N·m (0.5 kg·m, 3.7 ft·lb) at 3,600 rpm of peak torque.
