Kawasaki FJ400DThe Kawasaki FJ400D is a 401 cc, (24.47 cu·in) single-cylinder, natural aspirated four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Kawasaki for general-purpose applications.

A 82.0 mm (3.23 in) cylinder bore and 76.0 mm (2.99 in) piston stroke give the FJ400D engine a total of 401 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 8.2:1.

The Kawasaki FJ400D engine produced 13.2 PS (9.7 kW; 13.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power and 26.5 Nm (2.7 kg·m; 19.6 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of peak torque.
