The Torx TX270 is a 0.3 L (270 cc, 16.48 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft. The TX270 engine is used motor pumps, lawn cutting equipment, shredders, high-pressure washer, hydraulic pumps, and drive units.
The Torx TX270 engine has a single-cylinder, overhead valve (OHV) design, and heavy-duty recoil starter. This engine used a horizontal type carburetor, transistorized magneto ignition system, splash type lubricating system, and forced-air cooling system. The TX270 is equipped with a 6.0 L (1.59 US. gal. 1.32 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.
This engine produced 9.0 PS (6.6 kW; 9.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of horsepower and 15.8 N·m (1.6 kg·m, 11.6 ft·lb) at 2,700 rpm of torque.
