The Zongshen ZS 173F(E) is a 0.2 L (243 cc, 14.83 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Zongshen Power Co. for general-purpose applications.
The ZS 173F(E) engine has a single-cylinder, overhead valve (OHV) design, and recoil starter (173F) or electric starter (173FE). This engine used a carburetor fuel system, transistorized magneto ignition system, splash type lubricating system, and forced-air cooling system. The ZS 1730F(E) is equipped with a 5.2 L (1.37 US. gal. 1.14 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.
