Cub Cadet 72The Cub Cadet 72 is a garden tractor model from the 1X4/1X5 series, manufactured from 1967 to 1969 by Cub Cadet (a part of International Harvester) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It was available in two-wheel drive (2WD) version.

The Cub Cadet 72 is equipped with a 262 cc (16.2 cu·in) single-cylinder gasoline engine with 73.0 mm (2.87 in) of the cylinder bore and 63.5 mm (2.5 in) of the piston stroke, and one of two transmissions: a gear type transmission with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear and dry disc clutch (6 forward and 2 reverse with creeper).
