The Cub Cadet 73 is a lawn tractor model from the 1X2/1X3 series, manufactured from 1969 to 1971 by Cub Cadet (a part of International Harvester) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. It was available in two-wheel drive (2WD) version.
The Cub Cadet 73 is equipped with a 262 cc (16.23 cu·in) single-cylinder gasoline engine with 73.0 mm (2.87 in) of the cylinder bore and 63.5 mm (2.5 in) of the piston stroke, and one of two transmissions: a shaft-driven gear type transmission with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear and with dry disc clutch (6 forward and 2 reverse gears with creeper).
