Honda G100 K1

Honda G100 K1The Honda G100 K1 is a 83 cc (5.1 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company for general-purpose applications.

A 48.0 mm (1.89 in) cylinder bore and 46.0 mm (1.81 in) piston stroke give the G100 K1 engine a total of 83 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 6.5:1.

The G100K1 engine produced 2.2 PS (1.64 kW; 2.2 HP) at 4,200 rpm of maximum horsepower and 3.8 N·m (0.4 kg·m, 2.8 ft·lb) of maximum torque.

The Honda G100 K1 features:

  • Side valve (L-head) design
  • Transistorized magneto or contact point breaker (CDI) ignition system
  • Horizontal type carburetor with butterfly valve
  • Centrifugal govervor
  • Splash type lubrication system
  • Forced air cooling system
  • Recoil starter
