Kohler ECV870The Kohler ECV870 is a 824 cc (50.3 cu·in) natural aspirated V-twin four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine from the Command PRO EFI series with a vertical shaft, manufactured by Kohler Co for general-purpose applications.

A 86.0 mm (3.40 in) cylinder bore and 71.0 mm (2.80 in) piston stroke give the ECV870 engine a total of 824 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 8.9:1.

The ECV870 engine produces 31.4 PS (23.1 KW; 31.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 66.6 Nm (6.8 kg·m; 49.1 ft·lb) of peak torque.
