The Kubota D905 is a 0.9 L (898 cc, 54.8 cu·in) natural aspirated three-cylinders four-stroke liquid-cooled internal combustion small diesel engine, manufactured by Kubota for general-purpose applications.
A 72.0 mm (2.83 in) cylinder bore and 73.6 mm (2.9 in) piston stroke give the D905 engine a total of 898 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 22.0:1 for model D905-B(E) or 23.0:1 for models D905-E2B,-E3B,-E4B.
The Kubota D905 diesel engine produced 23.8 PS (17.5 kW; 23.5 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum net output power and 52.8 N·m (5.4 kg·m, 38.9 ft·lb) at 2,400 rpm of peak torque.
