The Honda GX240 T2/U2/UT2 is a 270 cc, (16.48 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company for general-purpose applications such as: pressure washers, commercial lawn and garden equipment, tillers and cultivators, generators,
small vehicles, water pumps.
A 77.0 mm (3.03 in) cylinder bore and 58.0 mm (2.28 in) piston stroke give the GX240 T2/U2/UT2 engine a total of 270 cc of displacement. The compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.
The Honda GX240 T2/U2/UT2 engine produced 8.0 PS (5.9 kW; 7.9 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power, 6.3 PS (4.6 kW; 6.2 HP) at 3,600 rpm of continuous rated power, and 18.3 N·m (1.9 kg·m, 13.5 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of peak torque.
