Kohler CV173The Kohler CV173 is a 173 cc (10.6 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine from the Command PRO series with a vertical shaft, manufactured by Kohler Co for general-purpose applications, such as walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, tillers, pressure washers.

The cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 70.0 mm (2.75 in) and 45.0 mm (1.80 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.0:1.

The Kohler CV173 engine produces 10.5 Nm (1.07 kg·m; 7.75 ft·lb) at 2,600 rpm of maximum torque.
