The Zongshen 168FA(E) is a 0.2 L (163 cc, 9.95 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft from Zongshen BT-series, manufactured by Zongshen Power Co. for general-purpose applications.
The ZS 168FA(E) engine has a single-cylinder, overhead valve (OHV) design, and recoil starter (168FA) or electric starter (168FAE). This engine used a carburetor fuel system, transistorized magneto ignition system, splash type lubricating system, and forced-air cooling system. The ZS 168FA(E) is equipped with a 2.6 L (0.69 US. gal. 0.57 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.
The Zongshen 168FA(E) engine produced 4.8 PS (3.5 kW; 4.7 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power and 8.8 N·m (0.9 kg·m, 6.5 ft·lb) of peak torque.
