The Zongshen GB225 is a 0.2 L (223 cc, 13.61 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Zongshen Power Co for general-purpose applications.
The Zongshen GB225 engine has a single-cylinder, overhead valve (OHV) design, and recoil starter. This engine used a carburetor fuel system, transistorized magneto ignition system, splash type lubricating system, and forced-air cooling system. The ZS GB225 is equipped with a 2.6 L (0.69 US. gal. 0.57 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.
The Zongshen GB225 engine produced 6.0 PS (4.4 kW; 5.9 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power and 12.9 N·m (1.3 kg·m, 9.5 ft·lb) of peak torque.
