Honda G150 K1

Honda G150 K1 engineThe Honda G150 K1 is a 0.1 L (144 cc, 8.8 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company since 1977 for general-purpose applications.

The Honda G150 K1 engine has a single cylinder, side-valve (L-head) design with two valves, camshaft driven by single row chain, and heavy-duty recoil starter. This engine used horizontally type carburetor with butterfly valve, contact breaker point or transistorized magneto ignition, splash type lubricating system and forced-air cooling system. The engine could be fitted with dual element type, semi-dry type or oil-bath type air cleaners. The G150 K1 is equipped with 2.5 L (0.66 US. gal. 0.55 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.

The G150 K1 engine produced 3.5 PS (2.6 kW; 3.5 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 7.1 N·m (0.7 kg·m, 5.2 ft·lb) at 3,000 rpm of maximum torque for models with contact breaker point ignition system or 3.8 PS (2.8 kW; 3.8 HP) at 3,600 rpm of peak power and 7.4 N·m (0.8 kg·m, 5.5 ft·lb) at 3,000 rpm of maximum torque for models with transistorized magneto ignition system.
