Honda GC190 engineThe Honda GC190 is a 187 cc, (11.41 cu·in) natural aspirated single-cylinder four-stroke air-cooled internal combustion small gasoline engine with a horizontal shaft, manufactured by Honda Motor Company for general-purpose applications.

The Honda GC190 engine has a single-cylinder and overhead camshaft (OHC) with a timing belt. This engine used a horizontal type carburetor with a butterfly valve with a diaphragm type fuel pump, transistorized magneto ignition system, splash type lubricating system, and forced-air cooling system. The engine is fitted with a dry air cleaner. The GC190 is equipped with a 2.0 L (0.53 US. gal. 0.44 Imp. gal.) fuel tank.

The Honda GC190 engine produced 6.0 PS (4.4 kW; 6.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum output power and 12.1 N·m (1.2 kg·m, 8.9 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of peak torque.

The Honda 4-stroke or an equivalent (SF or SG) oil with a viscosity of SAE 10W-30 is recommended for the GC190, refilling oil capacity is 0.58 L (0.61 US. qt, 0.51 Imp. qt.). Recommended spark plug is NGK: BPR6ES with 0.7-0.8 mm (0.0276-0.0315 in) spark plug gap.

The valve clearance is 0.11-0.19 mm (0.0043-0.0075 in) for intake valves and 0.16-0.24 mm (0.0063-0.0094 in) for exhaust valves. Standard cylinder compression is 5.0 kg/cm2 (71 psi) at 600 rpm.
