The Honda EM2500X is AC/DC portable generator with 2.5 KVA of maximum power, 2.3 KVA of rated power and 60Hz of rated frequency. The EM2500X generator is available with AC 120V and DC 12V rated voltage. The direct current terminals can be used for charging 12-volt automotive-type batteries only up to 8.3A.
The Honda EM2500X generator is equipped with the GX160 K1 single-cylinder gasoline engine with 163 cm3, (9.9 cu·in) of displacement. The engine has an OHV (overhead valve) design, horizontal carburetor with butterfly valve, and transistorized magneto ignition system. The GX160 K1 engine’s compression ratio rating is 8.5:1, cylinder bore and piston stroke are 68.0 mm (2.7 in) and 45.0 mm (1.8 in), respectively.
The engine produced 6.0 PS (4.4 KW; 6.0 HP) at 4,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 11 N·m (1.1 kg·m, 8.0 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of torque.
