Honda EC2200 generatorThe Honda EC2200 is a single-phase AC 115/230V portable generator with 2.0 kVA of maximum power and 1.7 kVA of rated power and 50 Hz of rated frequency. The EC2200 generator is available with 115/230 V rated voltage (B1 type) or 230 V only (F, GV, W, IT types).

The Honda EC2200 generator uses single-cylinder (inclined by 25°) Honda GX160 gasoline engine (163 cc; 9.9 The engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design. The GX160 uses a recoil starter, horizontal carburetor with butterfly valve and transistorized magneto ignition. The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.7 in) and the piston stroke is 45.0 mm (1.8 in), compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.

The GX160 produced 4.0 kW (5.5 HP) at 4,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 11 N·m (1.1 kg·m, 8 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of torque.
