Honda EC2000 generatorThe Honda EC2000 is a single-phase AC 115/230V portable generator with 2.0 kVA of maximum power and 1.7 kVA of rated power and 50 Hz of rated frequency. The EC2000 generator is available with 115/230 V rated voltage (B type) or 230 V only (F, GV, W, IT types).

The Honda EC2000 generator uses single-cylinder (inclined by 25°) Honda GX160 T1 gasoline engine (163 cc; 9.9 The engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design. The GX160 uses a recoil starter, horizontal carburetor with a butterfly valve, and transistorized magneto ignition. The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.7 in) and the piston stroke is 45.0 mm (1.8 in), the compression ratio rating is 8.5:1.

The GX160 produced 4.0 kW (5.5 HP) at 4,000 rpm of maximum horsepower and 11 N·m (1.1 kg·m, 8 ft·lb) at 2,500 rpm of torque.
