The Honda ET4500 is three-phase AC 115V/230V portable generator with 4.5 kVA of maximum power and 3.6 kVA of rated power and 60 Hz of rated frequency.
The Honda ET4500 generator uses a single-cylinder Honda G400 K1 gasoline engine (406 cc; 24.8 cu.in.). The engine has a side-valve (L-head) design and camshaft driven by a single row chain driven by the crankshaft. The G400 uses a horizontal carburetor with a butterfly valve and CDI ignition system. The cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 86.0 mm (3.4 in) and 70.0 mm (2.8 in), respectively. The compression ratio rating is 6.5:1.
The G400 produced 10.0 HP (7.45 kW) at 3600 rpm of maximum horsepower and torque was 22.5 Nm (2.3 kg·m) at 3600 rpm.
