Honda EB4000X

Honda EB4000XThe Honda EB4000X is a single-phase AC portable generator with 4.0 kVA of maximum power and 3.6 kVA of rated power and 60 Hz of rated frequency. The EB4000X generator is available with 120/240 V rated voltage.

The Honda EB4000X AT (s/n 1000001-1006923) generator used single-cylinder (inclined by 25°) the Honda GX270 gasoline engine (270 cc; 16.5 cu.in.). The engine has an overhead valve (OHV) design. The GX270 uses a recoil starter, horizontal carburetor with butterfly valve and C.D.I.(Capacitor Discharge Ignition). Cylinder bore and the piston stroke are 77.0 mm (3.0 in) and 58.0 mm (2.3 in), respectively. Compression ratio rating is 8.2:1.

The GX270 produced 9.1 PS (6.7 kW; 9.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of maximum horsepower and 19.5 Nm (1.95 kg·m, 14 ft·lb) of torque.

The Honda EB4000X AT1 (s/n 1006924-9999999) generator used the Honda iGX270 engine with the ECU (electronic control unit) and a self-tuning regulator (STR) governor system.
